  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Marketing or finance related major preferred.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in investment industry, with an understanding of investment terminology, and strong writing/editing skills required.
  • Knowledge of fixed income markets and terminology is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to flex styles as needed depending on audience and requirement.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on details and prioritization. The ability to juggle and prioritize multiple action items at one time while planning and adapting for future requirements.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-oriented atmosphere.
  • Strong technical ability with an in-depth understanding of systems including:  Microsoft Office – SharePoint, Excel, and Word. Proficiency with Qvidian is preferred but not required.
  • A quick learner, who adapts well to change, with strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Looking for an independent thinker with an aptitude for collaboration. Must have the ability to work well both independently and as a team member.
  • Knowledge of Putnam’s markets and products – preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of Putnam specific systems a plus.
  • Professional skills and a positive attitude required.
