  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years related experience or a Master’s degree with an Information Security focus
  • General knowledge of a broad range of technologies such as servers, endpoints, networks, databases, web applications, and cloud. 
  • Awareness of various processes and regulatory standards including, but not limited to: 
    • GLBA, SOX, MA Privacy Law 201 CRM 17.00, NIST Standards, SEC Standards
    • Risk Assessment Methodologies and Threat Modeling
    • Common threats and mitigation, such as OWASP Top 10
  • Self-motivated and a creative problem solver
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with technical and non-technical business partners
  • Capable of understanding complex technical issues and new technologies in a fast pace work environment
  • Experience in large projects with matrixed team members from requirements analysis and design to implementation is a must 
  • Familiarity with ITIL and various Software Development Methodologies is a plus
  • The following certifications would be a plus:
    • FINRA Series 6, 7, or 99
    • CISSP
    • CISM
