Job Title: Human Resources Co-op

Location: Andover, MA

Position Description: The Human Resources Co-op position will provide the opportunity to work within a Human Resources department in the financial services industry. The Human Resources Co-op’s primary focus will be supporting the Employee Relations & Recruiting functions. The Human Resources Co-op will learn all aspects of the recruiting process and be instrumental in supporting the workflow process. This position will also be exposed to other HR functions such as Learning and Development. 


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Schedule candidate interviews with managers and staff

- Coordinate and administer pre-hire testing/screening   
- Follow-up with candidates throughout the recruitment process

- Assist with new hire orientation and new hire processing

- Assist HR business partners with employee inquiries, working with HR database system to run reports and update employee records

- Manage job postings and job boards with partner schools/universities 

- Participate in on-campus college recruiting events

- Manage email communications

- Assist in other HR activities/special projects as required

Desirable Qualifications:

- Strong verbal and written communication

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Professional demeanor

- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information

- Strong attention to detail
- Undergraduate student

- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)

Work Schedule: 

Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (January through June)


This is a full-time position with potential to continue in the summer months. Previous Co-ops were able to take an online class and manage work responsibilities at the same time. More than one class is not encouraged.
