The Digital Content Leader is a lead member of the marketing team, providing content strategy and creation of compelling interactive content to drive advisor (customer) engagement and fund sales conversion. Content will include but is not limited to: interactive experiences (web, mobile, kiosk/in-person), rich media (video, infographics, webcasts, display advertising), text-only (email, paid search ads, in-app messaging, AI chatbots) and strategic materials (value propositions, product positioning, sales training). This role requires significant individual contribution with oversight for other marketing associates and/or vendors. The position is a senior role that requires the incumbent to develop the market enablement strategy and ensure execution. 

Functions and Responsibilities
  • Create compelling content across multiple platforms to drive sales and deepen customer relationships; define themes, stories and narratives with oversight and quality assurance of all content creation
  • Deliver materials across multiple platforms, understanding in detail the different requirements and capabilities of each
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on creation of customer buying journey framework and develop deep understanding of customer need states
  • Subject matter expert on content best practices
  • Select and manage third-party vendors as appropriate
  • Manage and mentor internal associates

Minimum Qualifications:

         Bachelor’s degree in a communications-related field. Additional training in marketing, communications, user experience is a plus.

         10+ years’ experience in marketing, advertising, or interactive content

         Strong understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing best practices

         Proven track record of creating compelling content, preferably in a leadership and/or management capacity

         Ability to conceptualize and execute multimedia content, integrated programs, and big stories and ideas

         Strongly competent in multiple media: web, print, video, mobile

         Comfortable with data-driven analysis/fact-based decision-making

         Superior written, interpersonal, project management and leadership skills
